Ola Kamara's scoring streak a silver lining for the slumping LA Galaxy

FRISCO, Texas. – Ola Kamara is beginning to catch fire with the LA Galaxy.

Kamara notched his third goal in as many games in the team’s 3-2 defeat to FC Dallas on Saturday. Despite playing in an unfamiliar wide position, Kamara has been lethal, helping keep the Galaxy afloat despite their recent defensive issues.

Against Dallas, Kamara provided a wide for Los Angeles, completing more than 70 percent of his passing, while also providing a pair of key passes that led to Galaxy chances. Although it wasn't always clean from the Norwegian, he performed admirably from the midfield.

The talented Norwegian forward nearly gave his team the equalizer late but saw his shot saved by Dallas goalkeeper Jimmy Mauer. With the Galaxy desperately needing a spark, Kamara’s success is a silver lining for Sigi Schmid’s group.
