LA Galaxy outside back Oscar Sorto went 55 minutes as the U.S. Under-23's fell 2-1 to Brazil's U-23 side in a friendly in Recife on Wednesday. 

Goals from Gabriel and Luan put Brazil up 2-0 before Jerome Julien Kiesewetter scored the only goal of the evening for the Americans.  Sorto entered the match in the 35th minute for Real Salt Lake defender Boyd â€‹Okwuonu​ while Galaxy defender Dave Romney did not feature in the loss. 


The U.S. U-23's next face Brazil on Sunday at 12 p.m. PT at the Mangueirão Stadium in Belém.
