WASHINGTON – The LA Galaxy visited the White House today, where President Barack Obama honored the club for their 2014 MLS Cup championship along with the LA Kings, the 2014 Stanley Cup winners.

The entire LA Galaxy first team and technical staff, along with Galaxy President Chris Klein and AEG President and CEO Dan Beckerman, were in attendance. This was the Galaxy’s third trip to the White House in four years, tied with the San Francisco Giants for the most White House trips by a team during Obama's presidency. The visit also continued the tradition begun by President Obama of honoring sports teams for their efforts to give back to their communities.

LA Galaxy team photographer Robert Mora was there to capture all of the action.
