"Score Goals. Win Games." Robbie Keane on fire heading into Houston Dynamo clash | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif.  – Robbie Keane is hitting his stride as the LA Galaxy enter the second half of the season.

Keane scored his second goal in two games last weekend when Galaxy earned a 1-0 victory over Seattle Sounders FC since returning from the European Championships two weeks ago. Although returning from an international tournament might be difficult, the Irish forward has hit the ground running since coming back to StubHub Center.

“I score goals and win games,” Keane told reporters on Thursday. “I never find it difficult to transition back into [league play] because you only struggle if you’re not scoring goals and winning games. If I keep performing every time that I come back then I’m doing my job.”

The Seattle victory gave Keane and the rest of the squad plenty of added confidence, but now the Irishman believes that it’ll be up to the team to build on their performance when they face off against Houston Dynamo on Friday.

“We just need to continue [our play],” Keane said. “I don’t like to worry about other teams. If we think about what we do then we’ll be fine.”
