Sebastian Lletget describes his performance in Sporting KC draw as his most "frustrating night" of his LA Galaxy career | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. – Sebastian Lletget had an honest assessment of his performance following the LA Galaxy’s scoreless draw with Sporting Kansas City on Thursday.

Not good enough.

Lletget and the rest of the Galaxy attack struggled to find any rhythm on Thursday against a well-drilled Sporting side that suffocated any chances for Los Angeles. Like the rest of the team's attackers, Lletget was too often guilty of what Bruce Arena described as “trying to pass the ball into the goal instead of shoot” throughout an admittedly frustrating night for everyone involved.

Lletget did give the Galaxy their only scoring opportunity of the evening when his goal was negated for offside midway through the second half, but that chance provided little solace for the young attacker who is hungry to improve.

“Probably the most frustrating night I’ve experienced in a Galaxy shirt, to be honest. Just little things, details,” Lletget said. “Sloppiness, our passing wasn’t great, the speed of our passing wasn’t great. We weren’t very creative tonight. You can give credit to them tonight; they made it difficult, but we still weren’t at our best. That includes myself; I don’t think I was as sharp as I could have been.”
