Sebastian Lletget hoping to return to action after missing FC Shirak friendly due to injury | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. -- Sebastian Lletget did not feature in the LA Galaxy's first preseason game of 2016, but the attacking midfielder is expecting a quick return to the field.

The 23-year-old midfielder missed out on the Galaxy's 3-2 win over Armenian club FC Shirak last week with groin tightness that has hindered Lletget throughout the start of preseason. Lletget will have his first chance to return to action on Saturday morning when the Galaxy face Toronto FC in a closed-door scrimmage.

Although Lletget's status for the scrimmage is still up in the air, he is hopeful that he can get back on the field.

"In the first week of training, I've had a tightness in my groin. It's not a big deal, but we're being cautious because it's still preseason," Lletget told LA Galaxy Insider. "There's still a lot of time to go before the start of the season. I'm hoping to take part in Saturday's game, but I'm still not sure yet."
