Second Commemorative Match Poster for MLS Cup Unveiled -

CARSON, Calif. (Friday, Dec. 5, 2014) – The LA Galaxy wrapped up their season-long commemorative match day poster series by unveiling the second piece of artwork of a two-part series for the MLS Cup between the LA Galaxy and New England Revolution at StubHub Center this Sunday, Dec. 7 at 12 p.m. PT live on ESPN and UniMás.

The poster is designed by artist Oliver Barrett and features Revolution midfielder Jermaine Jones and legendary Galaxy forward Landon Donovan ahead of the final professional match of his historic career. The poster is a sketch of one side of each player’s face with the MLS Cup trophy shown inside their heads to represent Sunday’s matchup. The first poster, unveiled yesterday, features sketches of both players with the MLS Cup trophy intertwined between the two.

The Galaxy have worked with local, national and international artists all year to design unique artwork to represent each Galaxy home game at StubHub Center this season. All previous commemorative match posters for the 2014 season are also available for purchase at www.lagalaxy.com/posters or at the Foundation Booth at StubHub Center.
