Six LA Galaxy Academy players head to college on National Signing Day | INSIDER

College commits

The LA Galaxy Academy announced on Wednesday that six academy products have signed with universities as part of National Signing Day. 


Three academy products will be staying in California while two will be heading to Florida and New Mexico respectively.


Defender Christian Onalfo (son of Galaxy II head coach Curt Onalfo) will be head to San Diego State, defender Erick Gallinar will join UC Irvine, while defender BJ O'hara has signed with UC Berkeley. Galaxy U-18 and U.S. U-19 forward Ethan Zubak (not photographed above) has committed to the University of New Mexico, attacker Rey Ortiz is joining the University of Portland, and midfielder Armando "AJ" Vergara will join the University of South Florida.
