CARSON, Calif. – Landon Donovan is not heading to Real Salt Lake according to a report from Sports Illustrated.
SI.com’s Grant Wahl reported on Wednesday that the former Galaxy midfielder will not be joining Salt Lake despite considerable interest from the Western Conference side. Donovan ended his retirement last year to return to the LA Galaxy, but was not offered a DP deal by the club this offseason.
The 34-year-old is the all-time league leader in goals (136) and assists (146).
