- Starting in goal is Jonathan Bond. The Englishman posted his fifth career shutout in MLS in the win over NYCFC last week.
- Mexican National Team defender Julián Araujo starts at right back. A first time MLS All-Star in 2021, Araujo led the Galaxy with seven assists in 32 games played (32 starts)
- Playing in the heart of defense is Séga Coulibaly, who made 19 appearances (17 starts) in his first season with the Galaxy last year.
- Next to Coulibaly is* Nick DePuy, who made a career-high 25 appearances (18 starts) and added an assist in his second season in LA in 2021. Playing at left back is Raheem Edwards, who tallied the game-winning assist in his debut for the Galaxy in the 1-0 win over New York City on Feb. 27. Edwards was named to the MLS Team of the Week for Week 1 following his performance against NYCFC.
- Mark Delgado* makes his second consecutive start for the Galaxy in midfield after making his debut for the club last week. The 26-year-old has tallied 17 goals and 24 assists in 219 regular-season appearances (188 starts) in his 10-year career in MLS. Next to Delgado is Rayan Raveloson, who ranked tied for second on the team in goals scored (5) and added one assist in 22 games played (22 starts) in his first season in LA last year.
- Appearing on the right wing is Designated Player Douglas Costa. The Brazilian international midfielder started and played 67 minutes against NYCFC, registering two shots on target in his debut for LA last week.
- Playing as the attacking midfielder is Víctor Vázquez, who led LA with 60 chances created and added three goals and six assists in 28 games played (21 starts) in his first season with the Galaxy.
- Playing on the left wing is Young Designated Player Kévin Cabral,who ranked tied for second on the team with five goals and chipped in with two assists in 28 appearances (24 starts) in his first season with the Galaxy in 2021.
- Starting up top and captaining the Galaxy is Javier “Chicharito” Hernández, who tallied the game-winning goal against NYCFC on Feb. 27. Chicharito has registered either a goal or an assist (7 goals, 2 assists) in eight consecutive matches played for the Galaxy dating back to Sept. 29, 2021.
