- Serbian goalkeeper Novak Mićović, 23, makes his 13th start of the 2025 MLS Regular Season in tonight's match against LAFC. Mićović, who holds a 1.58 goals-against average this season, recorded one save and notched his second shutout of the 2025 campaign in LA's 3-0 win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC on July 4. Mićović made four starts across all competitions during the 2024 campaign, posting one shutout and a 1.25 goals-against average.
- Japanese International defender Miki Yamane, who has tallied two assists in 20 appearances (18 starts) during the 2025 MLS Regular Season, starts at right back in tonight’s match against LAFC. Yamane has​ registered 10 assists in 63 appearances (60 starts) across all competitions in two seasons played with the Galaxy (2024-Present).
- Colombian defender Emiro Garcés, 23, who has tallied two goals and one assist in 23 appearances (18 starts) across all competitions for the Galaxy during the 2025 campaign, starts in defense in tonight's match against LAFC. Garcés has recorded two goals and three assists in 38 career appearances (29 starts) across all competitions for the LA Galaxy (2024-Present).
- Maya Yoshida, who has recorded three goals and three assists in 76 appearances (74 starts) across all competitions in three seasons with the Galaxy (2023-Present), captains LA in tonight’s match. Notably, Yoshida played in three FIFA World Cups (2014, 2018, 2022) for the Japanese National Team. Yoshida was the only player on the Galaxy roster to appear in every MLS match (Regular Season & Playoffs) during the 2024 season. Yoshida has made 23 appearances (21 starts) across all competitions for the Galaxy during the 2025 campaign.
- Julián Aude, who has tallied one goal in 25 appearances (11 starts) across all competitions during the 2025 campaign, makes his fifth consecutive start for the Galaxy in tonight’s match against LAFC. Aude, 22, has recorded three goals and three assists in 78 matches played (50 starts) across all competitions in three seasons played with LA (2023-Present). In his last league appearance at BMO Stadium, Aude recorded his first and only career MLS goal in a 2-1 loss to LAFC on April 6, 2024.
- Edwin Cerrillo, who has tallied one assist in 21 matches played (21 starts) during the 2025 MLS Regular Season, starts in midfield against LAFC. Cerrillo, 24, has registered one goal and five assists in 77 career matches played (66 starts) across all competitions with the LA Galaxy (2023 - Present). Cerrillo has tallied one goal and eight assists in 152 career MLS regular season matches played (116 starts). Notably, Cerrillo scored his first career MLS goal in the 4-2 win over LAFC at Dignity Health Sports Park on Sept. 14, 2024.
- Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Sanabria, 21, makes his 18th appearances (11th start) of the 2025 MLS Regular Season in the match against LAFC. Notably, Sanabria notched his first career goal for the LA Galaxy in the 2-0 win over Real Salt Lake on May 31. Sanabria recorded five goals and four assists in 46 matches played (41 starts) across all competitions (Campeonato Uruguayo Clausura & Apertura, Copa AUF Uruguay, Copa Libertadores, Torneo Intermedio) for Club Nacional de Football (2024). At the international level, Sanabria was called up to the Uruguayan National Team for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifying for matches against Peru on Oct. 11 and Ecuador on Oct. 15, 2024.
- 2024 MLS Newcomer of the Year Gabriel Pec, 24, who finished the 2024 MLS Regular Season with 30 goal contributions (16 goals, 14 assists) in 33 appearances (30 starts), starts on the right wing against LAFC. Pec has totaled 45 goal contributions (25 goals, 20 assists) in 65 appearances (62 starts) across all competitions in two seasons with the LA Galaxy (2024 - Present). Pec, who tallied an assist in the 3-0 win over Vancouver, has recorded four goals and three assists in 24 matches played (24 starts) across all competitions during the 2025 campaign. Pec has recorded one goal in four career matches played against LAFC.
- Marco Reus, who tallied a goal against D.C. United on July 12, starts in midfield in tonight’s match against LAFC. Reus has registered 16 goal contributions (6 goals, 10 assists) in 23 career regular season matches played (18 starts) for LA (2024-Present). Additionally, Reus has recorded 12 goal contributions (5 goals, 7 assists; 1.06 goals & assists per 90 min. played) in his last 13 matches played for the Galaxy dating back to April 27. Notably, Reus has recorded two goals and two assists in two career matches played against LAFC.
- Ghanaian international forward Joseph Paintsil, who has recorded 32 goal contributions (20 goals, 12 assists) in 55 career matches played (52 starts) across all competitions for LA, starts on the left wing against LAFC. Paintsil has notched four goals in his last four matches played at Dignity Health Sports Park dating back to May 31.
- Brazilian youth international forward Matheus Nascimento, 21, makes his ninth consecutive start for the LA Galaxy in tonight’s match against LAFC. The Niterói, Brazil native has notched two goals and three assists in 16 appearances (8 starts) for the Galaxy during the 2025 MLS Regular Season. Nascimento joined LA as a U22 Initiative Player on loan from Brazilian Série A side Botafogo on Feb. 19, 2025. Notably, Nascimento is the youngest player (16 years old) in club history to make their debut for Botafogo. Nascimento notched 12 goals and 7 assists in 98 appearances (55 starts) across all competitions in six seasons played with Botafogo (2020-25). At the international level, Nascimento has made multiple appearances for Brazil at the U-16, U-17, U-18, U-20 and U-23 age groups. The forward was part of the Brazilian National Team side that won the 2023 Pan American Games gold medal after defeating Chile in penalties on Nov. 4, 2023.
