  • Jonathan Bond, who has recorded two shutouts in 11 league appearances this season, makes his ninth consecutive regular-season start in the match against San Jose. In six career regular-season matches played against San Jose, Bond holds a 4-2-0 record and has posted one shutout and 23 saves. 
  • Calegari, a U-22 Initiative player, makes his 19th consecutive start for LA across all competitions in the match against the Earthquakes. Notably, Calegari was named to the MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 16 after recording two assists against RSL on May 31. 
  • Making his third consecutive start for the Galaxy is Chris Mavinga, who has made nine appearances (4 starts) during the 2023 MLS Regular Season. 
  • Kelvin Leerdam, who makes his second consecutive start in central defense for the Galaxy, earns his 10th league appearance (5th start) during the 2023 campaign. Notably, Leerdam has tallied three goals and two assists in eight career regular-season appearances (7 starts) against San Jose. 
  • Raheem Edwards, who tallied an assist against Sporting KC as a substitute on June 21, makes his 16th regular-season appearance (10th start) during the 2023 campaign in the match against the Earthquakes. 
  • Riqui Puig, who was named to the 2023 MLS All-Star roster on June 27, makes his 18th start in league this season in the match against the Earthquakes. Entering tonight’s match, Puig ranks second in the league in successful passes entering the final third (354), dribbles completed (57) and touches (1,589), fourth in passes completed (1,087) and fifth in MLS in chances created from open play (33) during the 2023 MLS Regular Season. 
  • Gastón Brugman, who recorded a goal against San Jose at Stanford Stadium on Sept. 24, 2022, captains LA in the Cali Clásico match against the Earthquakes. Brugman has recorded one goal and one assist and leads MLS in passes attempted (1,319), successful passes (1,168) and touches (1,618) and ranks fifth in MLS in possessions won (146) in 18 league appearances (17 starts) during the 2023 campaign. 
  • Mark Delgado, who recorded two assists in a 3-2 win over the Earthquakes at Stanford Stadium on Sept. 24, 2022, makes his 19th league appearance (17th start) for the Galaxy this season in the match against San Jose. 
  • Making his eighth appearance (4th start) in league play for the Galaxy this season is Douglas Costa, who has tallied one goal and two assists in four matches played across all competitions dating back to June 7. 
  • Tyler Boyd, who has tallied two goals in 18 regular-season matches played (12 starts) this season, starts on the wing for the Galaxy in the match against San Jose. 
  • Preston Judd, who scored his second goal of the season in a 2-2 draw against Sporting KC on June 21, makes his third consecutive start in league play in tonight’s match against San Jose. Notably, Judd has tallied two goals and one assist in his last four appearances for LA dating back May 6.
