- Serbian goalkeeper Novak Mićović, 23, makes his ninth start of the 2025 MLS Regular Season in tonight's match against the Earthquakes. Mićović tallied four saves and notched his first shutout of the 2025 campaign in LA's 2-0 win over Real Salt Lake on May 31. Mićović made four starts across all competitions during the 2024 campaign, posting one shutout and a 1.25 goals-against average. Mićović has registered one shutout in seven league appearances (7 starts) for the Galaxy during the 2025 campaign. Mićović earned his first career victory for LA in the 2-1 win over the Earthquakes in Leagues Cup 2024 group stage action at PayPal Park on July 31.
- Japanese International defender Miki Yamane, who has tallied two assists in 16 appearances (14 starts) during the 2025 MLS Regular Season, starts at right back in tonight’s match against San Jose. Yamane has​ registered 10 assists in 59 appearances (56 starts) across all competitions in two seasons played with the Galaxy (2024-Present).
- Colombian defender Emiro Garcés, 23, who has tallied two goals and one assist in 20 appearances (15 starts) across all competitions for the Galaxy during the 2025 campaign, starts in defense in tonight's match against the Earthquakes. Garcés has recorded two goals and three assists in 35 career appearances (26 starts) across all competitions for the LA Galaxy (2024-Present).
- Danish defender Zanka, 35, makes his 12th career league appearance (11th start) for the LA Galaxy in tonight’s match against San Jose. Zanka tallied the game-tying assist in LA's 1-1 draw against the Timbers at Providence Park on March 16. In 37 career appearances (22 starts) for the Denmark Men’s National Team, Zanka recorded two goals, one of which came in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Round of 16 match against.
- Julián Aude, who has made tallied one goal in 21 appearances (7 starts) across all competitions during the 2025 campaign, makes his first start for LA since doing so against the New York Red bulls on May 10. Aude, 22, has recorded three goals and three assists in 74 matches played (46 starts) across all competitions in three seasons played with LA (2023-Present).
- Edwin Cerrillo, who has tallied one assist in 17 matches played (17 starts) during the 2025 MLS Regular Season, starts in midfield against the Earthquakes. Cerrillo, 24, has registered one goal and five assists in 73 career matches played (62 starts) across all competitions with the LA Galaxy (2023 - Present).
- Diego Fagundez, who recorded a goal against San Diego FC on May 24, starts in midfield in tonight's match against San Jose. Fagundez has tallied 76 goals and 76 assists in 410 career MLS regular-season games played (302 starts), and is the eighth player in MLS history to record at least 75 career goals and 75 assists in regular season play. Fagundez has recorded three goals in 16 matches played (15 starts) during the 2025 MLS Regular Season.
- 2024 MLS Newcomer of the Year Gabriel Pec, 24, who finished the 2024 MLS Regular Season with 30 goal contributions (16 goals, 14 assists) in 33 appearances (30 starts), starts on the right wing against Colorado. Pec has totaled 44 goal contributions (25 goals, 19 assists) in 61 appearances (58 starts) across all competitions in two seasons with the LA Galaxy (2024 - Present). Pec recorded two goals in the 3-3 draw against St. Louis CITY SC on June 14. In three matches played across all competitions against San Jose during the 2024 campaign, Pec totaled three goal contributions (1 goal, 2 assists).
- Marco Reus, who tallied two assists against St. Louis CITY SC on June 14, starts in midfield in tonight’s match against San Jose. Reus has registered 13 goal contributions (4 goals, 9 assists) in 19 career regular season matches played (14 starts) for LA (2024-Present). In his last nine matches played dating back to April 27, Reus has registered nine goal contributions (3 goals, 6 assists). Paintsil tallied five goal contributions (3 goals, 2 assists) in three appearances against the Earthquakes last season.
- Brazilian youth international forward Matheus Nascimento, 21, makes his fifth consecutive start for the LA Galaxy in tonight’s match against San Jose. The Niterói, Brazil native has notched one goal and two assists in 12 appearances (4 starts) for the Galaxy during the 2025 MLS Regular Season. Nascimento made his first career MLS start in the match against San Jose on May 28. Nascimento joined LA as a U22 Initiative Player on loan from Brazilian Série A side Botafogo on Feb. 19, 2025. Notably, Nascimento is the youngest player (16 years old) in club history to make their debut for Botafogo. Nascimento notched 12 goals and 7 assists in 98 appearances (55 starts) across all competitions in six seasons played with Botafogo (2020-25). At the international level, Nascimento has made multiple appearances for Brazil at the U-16, U-17, U-18, U-20 and U-23 age groups. The forward was part of the Brazilian National Team side that won the 2023 Pan American Games gold medal after defeating Chile in penalties on Nov. 4, 2023.
