  • 2023 MLS All-Star Riqui Puig, who was named to the MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 24 after recording a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win over the Philadelphia Union on July 8, makes his 21st start in league play this season in the match against Whitecaps FC. Entering tonight’s match, Puig ranks first in the league in dribbles completed (72), successful passes entering the final third (419), touches (1,894) and passes attempted (1,492), second in passes completed (1,293) and tied for second in MLS in chances created from open play (43) during the 2023 MLS Regular Season.
  • Gastón Brugman captains LA in tonight’s match against Vancouver.
