  • Two-time MLS Cup Champion (2022, 2024) John McCarthy starts in goal in tonight's match against LAFC. The LaSalle University product has posted 21 shutouts and 348 saves in 110 career regular-season appearances (109 starts) across 10 seasons played in MLS (2015-25). The Philadelphia, Penn., native made a career-high 32 appearances (32 starts), finished second in MLS in saves (127) and posted six shutouts during the 2024 MLS Regular Season. McCarthy played two seasons with LAFC (2023-2024), and was named MLS Cup 2022 MVP after making two penalty-kick saves against the Philadelphia Union on Nov. 5, 2022.
  • Japanese International defender Miki Yamane, who has tallied two assists in 10 appearances (9 starts) during the 2025 MLS Regular Season, starts at right back in tonight's match against LAFC. Yamane has​ registered 10 assists in 53 appearances (51 starts) across all competitions in two seasons played with the Galaxy (2024-Present).
  • Colombian defender Emiro Garcés, 23, who has tallied two goals and one assist in 16 appearances (13 starts) across all competitions for the Galaxy during the 2025 campaign, starts in defense in tonight's match against LAFC. Garcés has recorded two goals and three assists in 31 career appearances (23 starts) across all competitions for the LA Galaxy (2024-Present).
  • Maya Yoshida, who has recorded three goals and three assists in 66 appearances (65 starts) across all competitions in three seasons with the Galaxy (2023-Present), captains LA in tonight's game. Notably, Yoshida played in three FIFA World Cups (2014, 2018, 2022) for the Japanese National Team. Yoshida was the only player on the Galaxy roster to appear in every MLS match (Regular Season & Playoffs) during the 2024 season.
  • John Nelson, who has made 13 appearances (12 starts) across all competitions this season for LA, starts in defense in tonight's match. The Medina, Ohio, native has logged one goal and four assists in 44 matches played (32 starts) across all competitions in two seasons with the LA Galaxy.
  • Edwin Cerrillo, who has tallied one assist in 12 matches played (12 starts) during the 2025 MLS Regular Season, starts in his return from yellow-card suspension in tonight's match against LAFC. The Waco, Texas, native recorded his first career MLS goal in the 4-2 come-from-behind victory against LAFC at Dignity Health Sports Park on Sept. 14, 2024. Cerrillo, 24, has registered one goal and five assists in 68 matches played (57 starts) across all competitions with the LA Galaxy (2023 - Present).
  • Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Sanabria, 21, makes his eighth appearances (5th start) of the 2025 MLS Regular Season in tonight's match against LAFC. Sanabria recorded five goals and four assists in 46 matches played (41 starts) across all competitions (Campeonato Uruguayo Clausura & Apertura, Copa AUF Uruguay, Copa Libertadores, Torneo Intermedio) for Club Nacional de Football (2024). At the international level, Sanabria was called up to the Uruguayan National Team for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifying for matches against Peru on Oct. 11 and Ecuador on Oct. 15, 2024.
  • Marco Reus, who tallied two assists against Philadelphia on May 14, starts in midfield in tonight's match against LAFC. Reus has registered nine goal contributions (2 goals, 7 assists) in 20 career matches played (13 starts) across all competitions for LA (2024-Present). Reus totaled 301 goal contributions in 429 career appearances across all competitions in 12 seasons played (2012-24) for Borussia Dortmund. In his first career appearance against LAFC, Reus recorded two assists as a second-half substitute in the 4-2 come-from-behind win on Sept. 14, 2024.
  • 2024 MLS Newcomer of the Year Gabriel Pec, 24, who finished the 2024 MLS Regular Season with 30 goal contributions (16 goals, 14 assists) in 33 appearances (30 starts), starts on the right wing against LAFC. Pec has totaled 42 goal contributions (23 goals, 19 assists) in 55 appearances (52 starts) across all competitions in two seasons with the LA Galaxy (2024 - Present). Pec recorded a goal against LAFC at Rose Bowl Stadium on July 4, 2024.
  • Diego Fagundez, who became the youngest player in MLS history to make 300 career MLS regular season starts and tallied a goal against Philadelphia on May 14, starts on the left wing in tonight's match against LAFC. Fagundez has tallied 75 goals and 76 assists in 405 career MLS regular-season games played (300 starts), becoming the eighth player in MLS history to record at least 75 career goals and 75 assists in regular season play.
  • Christian Ramirez, who leads the Galaxy with four goals scored during the 2025 MLS Regular Season, makes his 10th start (13th appearance) in league play during the 2025 campaign in tonight's match. Ramirez played two seasons with LAFC (2018-2019), recording six goals and two assists in 24 career league appearances (16 starts). In four career matches played against LAFC dating back to 2018, the Garden Grove, Calif., native has recorded four goals and one assist.
