  • Jonathan Bond, who has posted one shutout in three MLS regular-season starts in 2023, returns from injury to make his U.S. Open Cup debut for the LA Galaxy.
  • Calegari makes his eighth consecutive start for LA across all competitions in the Round of 32 Open Cup match against Seattle.
  • Martín Cáceres earns his 10th start across all competitions of the 2023 campaign for the Galaxy, and appeared in his fourth World Cup (2010, 2014, 2018, 2022) for Uruguay at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
  • Jalen Neal makes his second career Open Cup appearance for the Galaxy in the match against Seattle. Amongst all MLS players that have completed a minimum of 400 passes, Neal leads the league in passing accuracy (93.93%)
  • Argentine youth international defender Julián Aude, who made his first start for the Galaxy in the 2-0 win over Austin on April 22, makes his fourth consecutive start for LA in the match against the Sounders.
  • Making his 10th start across all competitions for LA this season is Riqui Puig, who has recorded one goal and one assist this season.
  • Gastón Brugman makes his 11th start across all competitions for LA during the 2023 campaign in the Round of 32 match against Sounders FC.
  • Mark Delgado makes his 11th start of the season across all competitions for the Galaxy in the Open Cup match against Seattle. Delgado recorded his first assist of the 2023 campaign in the 2-0 win over Austin on April 22.
  • Making his eighth start across all competitions for the LA Galaxy is Tyler Boyd, who won Goal of the Matchday for Matchday 8 for his strike from distance against LAFC on April 16.
  • Making his first career start for the LA Galaxy is midfielder Gino Vivi, who made his debut for the club as a second-half substitute against Colorado on May 6.
  • Javier “Chicharito” Hernández makes his 11th start across all competitions during the 2023 campaign after recording the game-winning goal against Austin FC on April 22. In his last three regular-season matches played against Seattle dating back to Nov. 1, 2021, Chicharito has recorded three goals.
