CARSON, Calif. -- Three LA Galaxy players have been nominated for MLSsoccer.com's Latino del Año award.
Sebastian Lletget, Giovani dos Santos and Juninho were selected by FutbolMLS for the honor which is given to players with roots from Latin America and Spain. Seattle Sounders FC midfielder Marco Pappa won the award a year ago.
A total of 32 players were nominated for the group stage which will end on Sunday. The highest vote-getter from each group will advance will advance to the knock-out round, where players will face off until a winner is decided. FutbolMLS will crown their winner on Dec. 4.
