Lance Corporal Feldman enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2009 and served until 2013. Feldman served as an infantry Marine, trained in San Diego and deployed to Sangin, Helmand Province, Afghanistan. This region was widely known for its intense and dangerous conditions as one of the most treacherous areas of the war.
During this time, the operation that led to the capture of Osama Bin Laden took place. While not directly involved, his unit took great pride in supporting the broader mission and contributing to the efforts of the United States during a significant moment in history.
After returning home he found a found purpose in helping others. Today, he is a case manager at Peak Path Recovery in the Hollywood Hills, supporting veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and addiction.
He is also involved with Veterans of America, Disabled American Veterans Revive Five, and Kirby’s Comfort Crew. Currently, Feldman studies substance use disorder counseling at UCLA Extension and will be certified soon, continuing his mission to serve veterans and their families.
