WATCH: LA Galaxy players featured alongside supermodel Lily Aldridge for SELF magazine's "Play Like A Girl" issue | INSIDER

Four members of the LA Galaxy recently had an opportunity to take the field with international supermodel Lily Aldridge for a photo shoot for the July edition of SELF magazine.

Goalkeeper Brian Rowe, defenders Robbie Rogers and Leonardo as well as forward Bradford Jamieson IV all faced off against the Victoria's Secret Angel and a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model for SELF's "Play Like A Girl issue." Throughout the interview, pictorial -- and the accompanying video which can be seen above -- Aldridge had the chance to show off her sports skills against the Galaxy players as well as other athletes like New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

Playing soccer is nothing new for Aldridge who readily admits that if she wasn't a renown supermodel, she'd be a professional soccer player.

I always thought I was going to be a soccer player, get a scholarship to college and then join the U.S. women’s team,” says Aldridge, who told SELF that she's played left forward for 11 years. “Mia Hamm was my role model. I still look up to her.”

Although initially a bit apprehensive about getting back on the pitch, Aldridge quickly warmed up after conversing with the four Galaxy players .

“I was nervous to play them, because I’d been talking about soccer all day,” Aldridge said. “It felt great to be on the field. Being around athletes makes me feel very comfortable.”
