El Tri, however, are entering the match as the favorites after defeating Germany and Korea Republic.

Korea Republic vs Germany (Group F)

  • Germany must defeat Korea Republic by two goals to confirm their place in the knockout stage. The Asian side, on the other hand, must defeat Germany and hope Mexico overpowers Sweden in order to advance from the group stage. Germany has been victorious in the past two confrontations against Korea Republic, making them the favorites going into tomorrow’s match.

    • Brazil require a win or draw against Serbia tomorrow in order to proceed onto the knockout stage. Despite their loss against Switzerland, Serbia can still qualify if they draw against brazil and Costa Rica wins by two or more goals. Serbia and Brazil have met four times at the World Cup, each winning one match and drawing two.
  • Switzerland vs Costa Rica (Group E)

    • Switzerland are looking to win tomorrow against Costa Rica in order to make to the knockout stage. A draw would also qualify the Swiss nation, but only if Serbia draw or lose to Brazil as well. Costa Rica, on the other hand, have already been eliminated from the tournament due to two successive defeats. Tomorrow will be the third meeting between these two countries, each recording a victory in the past. Despite the history, however, Switzerland are entering the match as favorites to proceed to the round of 16.
