World Cup winners Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso to arrive tomorrow at LAX

The LA Galaxy announced today that Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas, defender Sergio Ramos and midfielder Xabi Alonso will arrive on Tuesday, August 3 at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Members of Spain’s 2010 FIFA World Cup winning team, the trio will arrive at Terminal 5 of LAX on Delta Flight # 8505, which is scheduled to land at 4 p.m. All three players started the World Cup Final on July 11 as Spain defeated Holland 1-0 to win the nation’s first-ever World Cup.


Casillas, Ramos and Xabi Alonso will be available for b-roll and photos only just outside of baggage claim before heading to the team’s hotel in Beverly Hills. All three players are expected to be available for selection to head coach Jose Mourinho in Madrid’s friendly against the Galaxy at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, August 7.
