Former LA Galaxy goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts in line for a potential move back to StubHub Center | INSIDER

Jaime Penedo is on his way out of StubHub Center, and the LA Galaxy appear to be lining up a move to bring back goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts for another stint with the club.


LA Galaxy Insider has heard that the Galaxy are lining up a move for the goalkeeper who is currently with Orlando City following their decision to mutually part ways with Penedo on Wednesday. The Orlando Sentinel also reported that the the two clubs are in talks about a move to send the Jamaican back to Los Angeles


Ricketts, 38, has made 10 appearances for Orlando City this season earning a 2-5-3 record as starter Tally Hall recovered from an ACL injury. During his 10 games for the Lions, the 'keeper made 21 saves and earned two shutouts. 


A member of the Galaxy from 2009 to 2011, the former Jamaican international won one MLS Cup and was integral in helping LA reach the final in his first of three seasons with the club. During his time with the Galaxy, Ricketts went 39-16-19 in MLS competition with 226 saves and 30 shutouts.
