CARSON, Calif. -- Giovani dos Santos came through for the LA Galaxy on Sunday as the Mexican forward snapped the club's 290-minute goalless streak in their 3-2 victory over FC Dallas.

Dos Santos' goal in the 11th minute of the win over FC Dallas ended a goalless drought that dated back to the late stages of the Galaxy's August 23 win over New York City FC.  The 26-year-old striker later added an assist on Robbie Keane's strike three minutes later to bring his overall goal total with the Galaxy to four goals and six assists in nine games.

“It feels good [to score]," Dos Santos said. "It gave us a lot of confidence in the first half, but we knew that we have very good players. We were very good today, Stevie also scored, and always as a striker you want to score. I think we are not worried about creating chances to score goals because we have very good players.”

The goal and the assist weren't the only memorable moments for the Mexican, however. Immediately after his helper on Keane's tally, Dos Santos and the LA captain celebrated by breaking out Silentó's "NaeNae" dance.

After the win, Dos Santos told reporters that the dance was dedicated to Keane's son Robert.

“It was a celebration Robbie [Keane] told me before the game," said Dos Santos. "[We wanted] to do it for his son, and we did it.”
