Academy defender Hugo Arellano makes second straight start for the U.S. U-17's in 2-2 draw with Croatia at U-17 World Cup | INSIDER

LA Galaxy Academy product Hugo Arellano started a second straight game in central defense for the U.S. U-17's at the U-17 World Cup, but once again, the young Americans could not find a victory as they drew Croatia 2-2. 


Richie Williams' outfit jumped out to an early lead with a pair of first-half goals from Christian Pulisic and Brandon Vazquez. However, the Americans' defense faltered later as the Croats roared back with a pair of tallies by Karlo Majic and Luka Ivanusec. The Americans were fortunate not drop their second straight, as the Europeans rattled the woodwork twice toward the end of the match, but could not find the winner. 


The United States close their group stage slate on Friday when they face hosts Chile at 3 pm PT.
