CARSON, Calif. (Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015) – LA Galaxy goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts has been nominated for MLS Save of the Week for Week 31 for his diving save of a long-distance shot from Clint Dempsey.

With the Galaxy leading 1-0 late in the second half, Sounders FC forward Clint Dempsey found space outside the 18 before launching a shot on frame headed for the corner of the net. The MLS veteran made a beautiful diving save to his left to parry the shot out for a corner kick.
Fans can vote for Ricketts here. The winner will be announced on Friday.
Ricketts goes up against Andre Blake (PHI), Steve Clark (CLB), Luis Robles (NYRB), Bobby Shuttlesworth (NE).
