CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015) – Tickets are now on sale for the LA Galaxy match at StubHub Center against four-time Armenian Premier League champions FC Shirak on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, the club announced today. The preseason matchup, which kicks off at 7 p.m. PT, is being coordinated in conjunction with Pangea Sports Management.
Fans can purchase tickets by clicking here, with individual tickets starting at just $20. All 2016 LA Galaxy Season Ticket Members will receive access to the match at StubHub Center on Jan. 30, which will not count as a STM Bonus Game.
Season Ticket Members will have the opportunity to receive a matching number of complimentary General Admission tickets to the match via MyAccount. The redemption deadline is Tuesday, December 22. Under head coach Vardan Bichakhchyan, Shirak are currently in fourth place (7-4-4, 24 points) through the first half of the 2015-16 Armenian Premier League season. They are led in goals by Armenian Davit Hakobyan with five on the campaign. Shirak, who won the 2013 Armenian Super Cup and reached the second qualifying round of the 2013-14 UEFA Champions League, will appear in Los Angeles ahead of the start of the second half of their season, which is scheduled to being in early March.
The Galaxy face FC Shirak for the second time in club history, recording a 2-1 win over the Armenian side in 2014 behind goals from forward Gyasi Zardes and former Galaxy striker Samuel at StubHub Center in front of a crowd of more than 12,000 to witness the preseason exhibition.
