LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arenatold ExtraTime Radio on Monday that the LA Galaxy will "likely" be re-signing Alan Gordon and make a host of other moves before the team opens up preseason later this month.
Speaking to MLSsoccer.com's weekly podcast, the Galaxy head coach and general manager addressed the team's offseason departures of Juninho and Omar Gonzalez, but also stressed that the club will be active in bringing in new acquisitions.
"We'll likely re-sign Alan Gordon, we're going to sign two free agents in the league," Arena said. "We're going to sign a couple of players playing in Europe right now, and oddly enough, at the end of the day, I think our roster is going to be stronger than it was last year."
Arena's comments come admit a host of rumors linking the Galaxy to a series of players including former England international Ashley Cole and longtime MLS defensive midfielder Jeff Larentowicz
