The LA Galaxy may be in the market for another veteran English defender.
According to a report in ESPN FC, the Galaxy are interested in acquiring Joleon Lescott, an English defender currently with Premier League side Aston Villa.
A source tells the ESPN FC that the Galaxy have made inquiries about the 33-year-old left-sided central defender who has made 15 appearances for Villa. Italian reporter Gianluca Di Marzio added to the ESPN FC link claiming that the Galaxy are in fact in talks with the former England national team player.
Lescott has spent his entire career in England with stops at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Everton, Manchester City, West Bromwich Albion, and most recently Aston Villa. The veteran defender also represented England 28 times.
