Fans advised to arrive to StubHub Center early tomorrow For CONCACAF Champions League match

CARSON, Calif. (Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016) – The LA Galaxy advise fans to arrive to StubHub Center as early as possible for the team’s first-leg match against Santos Laguna in the 2015-16 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals, set for Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m. PT (FS1, UDN). With expected heavy traffic and congested streets for the competition, all fans that do not arrive by 6 p.m. PT will risk missing the start of the match.

As limited parking spots will be available due to California State University, Dominguez Hills weeknight campus parking, fans are encouraged to arrive well in advance of kickoff. Fans are also encouraged to carpool to StubHub Center Wednesday for the evening fixture.

Fans are also encouraged to take Uber to StubHub Center for the Champions League match Wednesday night. New users can receive a discount by registering through the LA Galaxy at www.uber.com/go/lagalaxy16. Fans can be picked up and dropped off using Uber at the main entrance off of Avalon Blvd.

At 2 p.m. PT, parking gates A and D will be open, with all other parking gates set to open at 4 p.m. PT. All stadium gates to enter StubHub Center will open beginning at 5:30 p.m. PT.

The Galaxy face Santos Laguna for a chance to advance to tournament’s semifinal.

The CONCACAF Champions League is the region’s most prestigious club tournament, qualifying its champion directly to the FIFA Club World Cup. LA are set to make their fourth trip to the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals. In the second leg of the SCCL quarterfinals, the Galaxy will travel to Estadio Corona in Torreon, Mexico to face Laguna on Tuesday, March 1, at 7 p.m. PT.
