Robbie Keane posted on Instagram on Thursday that he underwent surgery to correct a right knee injury.
Keane's Instagram photo shows the forward's right knee heavily wrapped in bandages after surgery. The 35-year-old missed out on the Republic of Ireland’s two recent friendlies due to the knee injury which required him to return to Southern California for treatment.
The Galaxy announced on Thursday that Keane will miss 4-6 weeks.
