CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy defender Jelle Van Damme will be available for this Saturday's clash against Real Salt Lake after a team-sanctioned trip to Belgium earlier this week.
Van Damme returned to Belgium with the club's permission to see his family and arrived back in Southern California on Wednesday. The 32-year-old will be back in training on Thursday and will be available for selection when the Galaxy play Real Salt Lake.
Van Damme has played in five of six games for the Galaxy this season.
