Early Goals Is What They Say

LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena hopes LA is strong enough to win against the #1 team in the league, Colorado Rapids. “Scoring early goals will put them under pressure. It changes the way they like to play,” Bruce Arena said.

Even though the Galaxy scored no goals the last two games, they have high hopes for tonight against the Rapids. LA Galaxy midfielder Sebastian Lletget says the key to beating the Rapids is “playing smarter and shooting as much as possible.”

Sebastian also said that the Galaxy had many chances to score against Toronto FC. But Toronto had an advantage, because forward Gyasi Zardes of the Galaxy didn’t play.  He had a game with the U.S. National Team. Gyasi left the team with a hole in their lineup. Also, defender of the Galaxy Robbie Rogers is out of the lineup with ankle surgery and will be out for about six weeks.

I believe the Galaxy is capable of winning against the western leaders. Many players were frustrated they lost against Toronto FC without forward Jozy Altidore of Toronto injured and on the bench. Jozy was injured and suffered and hamstring injury.

The Colorado Rapids are hoping to win tonight to up their game from 9-2 to get in the double digits with 10-2. And if LA can win tonight they will move up to fourth place. “We’re as ready as we can be,” Arena said.
