NEW YORK – Steven Gerrard sat down with Roger Bennett of the Men in Blazers podcast ahead of the Galaxy’s match with New York City FC on Saturday.
Bennett touched on a number of topics with Gerrard from his time with Liverpool FC to his experience with legendary Los Angeles burger joint, In-N-Out (“it’s amazing, I have to credit the Americans for that”). However, much of the focus of the interview centered on Saturday’s clash with NYCFC and former rival Frank Lampard, which Gerrard says he’s eagerly anticipating.
“This game has all the makings of a classic,” Gerrard told Bennett.
