Gyasi Zardes misses out on USMNT World Cup Qualifiers after suffering injury against Vancouver | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. -- Gyasi Zardes was omitted from the U.S. National Team's squad for their upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers due to an injury. 


The LA Galaxy striker had been named to Jurgen Klinsmann's 26-man squad for their matches against St. Vincent & and the Grenadines (Sept. 2) and Trinidad and Tobago (Sept. 6), but will not travel after sustaining an injury during the Galaxy's scoreless draw with Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday.  


Zardes will be missing his first competitive match for the national team since joining the fold last January.
