Jefrey Payeras paid tribute to Carlos Ruiz following his international retirement with a heartwarming post on Instagram.
Following Ruiz's breathtaking five-goal performance in his final match for Guatemala -- a game that Payeras started and went 90 minutes -- against St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Tuesday, scores took to social media to honor "El Pescado" including Payeras.
Payeras' post shows the 22-year-old's growth from a little child from Hawthorne taking a photo with the Galaxy star to full Guatemalan international taking a photo with a departing teammate.
