Three LA Galaxy players who could get called up by the USMNT during the "Hex" | INSIDER

Sebastian Lletget

CARSON, Calif. – Everyone knows that LA Galaxy stalwart Gyasi Zardes is an integral part of the U.S. National Team setup, but which other players from Bruce Arena’s squad should be on Jurgen Klinsmann’s radar?

Ahead of the U.S. National Team’s October friendlies and the start of the final round of World Cup qualifying, we took a look at which three Galaxy players have the strongest case for inclusion to the USMNT in 2017 and beyond.

SEBASTIAN LLETGET

Since arriving at StubHub Center a year-and-a-half ago, Sebastian Lletget has built a strong case for a future USMNT call.

Comfortable in the center of the park or on the flanks, Lletget has been one of the Galaxy’s most consistent performers down the stretch run with one goal and eight assists this season. Lletget has reinvented himself this season with a move to the center of the park which seems to be a perfect fit for the slick passer known for his impressive work rate.

At just 23, Lletget’s prime is still ahead of him, and if he continues to develop with the Galaxy, he could earn a place on Jurgen Klinsmann’s roster.

ROBBIE ROGERS

No player’s consistent omission from Jurgen Klinsmann’s plans is as perplexing as Robbie Rogers.

The 29-year-old resurrected his career in 2014 with his move to outside back and solidified himself as one of the most consistent full backs in MLS since. In 2016, Rogers, who has 18 USMNT caps to his name, has featured primarily as a right back, scoring once and tallying two assists in 19 appearances.

As the U.S. enters the final round of World Cup qualifying, a defender of Rogers’ caliber could be a valuable addition to the USMNT's back line depth.

BRIAN ROWE

Brian Rowe is only 29 games into his first full season as the LA Galaxy’s starting goalkeeper, but with more consistency, he could find himself in the U.S. National Team fold.

With Jurgen Klinsmann still looking for the heir apparent to Brad Guzan and Tim Howard, Rowe could emerge as a potential candidate for the future. Rowe has enjoyed a solid season in his first year as a starter with the Galaxy, earning an 11-5-13 record while making 109 saves (3rd in MLS) and conceding just 33 times.

If Rowe can backstop the Galaxy to a title, the ‘keeper could see Klinsmann come calling as soon as the annual January camp.
