CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy have a new No. 7.
New Designated Player Romain Alessandrini will don the iconic Galaxy No. 7 shirt after signing with the club on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old French winger will take the kit number which was last used by Galaxy club legend Robbie Keane. Keane won three MLS Cups during his time donning the club and was named the 2014 MLS Most Valuable Player while notching more than 100 hundred goals for the club.
In addition to Keane, the number was also worn by current Galaxy club President Chris Klein, current Technical Director Jovan Kirovski, former U.S. International Herculez Gomez, and Galaxy original Andrew Shue.
