The LA Galaxy will face Atlanta United FC on the road at Mercedes Benz Stadium on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 4 p.m. PT live on ESPN2, Atlanta United announced today. The Galaxy’s original contest against Atlanta was scheduled for Aug. 19 before being rescheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 20.
The Sept. 20 contest against Atlanta will mark the start of three straight road games for the Galaxy in the span of a week. LA will face Sporting Kansas City on Sunday, Sept. 24 on the road before a game at Houston Dynamo on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
The midweek contest against Atlanta will mark the first-ever contest between the Galaxy and the Eastern Conference side, who joined MLS this season.
The LA Galaxy are in action next this Sunday against Minnesota United FC (ESPN, ESPN Deportes).
