CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy midfielder Romain Alessandrini has enjoyed a historic start to his tenure with the club.
Alessandrini notched a brace against the Galaxy’s 3-1 victory over the Red Bulls last week to bring his 10-game scoring total to six goals and four assists. The 28-year-old Frenchman has quickly become a talisman for Los Angeles, doing most of his damage on the road with five goals and two assists.
The Frenchman’s enthused start is the highest scoring total for a Galaxy player in the first 10 games of their tenure since Sebastian Lletget scored six times in 2015 and Landon Donovan tallied six goals back in 2005.
