StubHub Center to enhance public safety measures through updated bag policy

LOS ANGELES (Friday, May 26, 2017) –To continue improving safety measures for all fans, effective immediately StubHub Center has implemented a policy that will limit the size and type of bags permitted to enter the stadium. This new policy, which will enhance stadium safety and expedite entry to the stadium, will apply to all events hosted at any of the StubHub Center venues.

StubHub Center and the LA Galaxy advise fans not to bring bags of any kind to the stadium for events. Bags that adhere to the below standards will be permitted to enter StubHub Center:


PERMITTED:

· Bags that are clear plastic or clear vinyl and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12."


or

· One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).


· Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bags.


*Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.

On Saturday, June 17, during the LA Galaxy’s next home match at StubHub Center against the Houston Dynamo, the club will distribute clear, LA Galaxy-branded bags to the first 12,500 fans to enter the stadium. Additionally, all 2017 LA Galaxy Season Ticket Members can receive a complimentary clear LA Galaxy bag that can be collected at the Item Pick-Up booth on the June 24 and July 4 game days. All other fans will be able to purchase clear LA Galaxy bags at the LA Galaxy Team Store. Clear bags are also included with the Cozmo Club membership that benefits the LA Galaxy Foundation.


Prohibited items into StubHub Center include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.


The LA Galaxy are in action next when the team travels to San Jose for the California Clásico this Saturday, May 27 at 7 p.m. PT live on Univision.
