Unbeaten in six, LA Galaxy continue to rise up the MLS Power Rankings | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy continued their ascent in the latest MLS Power Rankings.

Los Angeles earned a scoreless draw with D.C. United last Saturday to end their four-game road swing with 10 points out of a possible 12. Heading into the June international break, the Galaxy sit in eighth place with 18 points after 13 matches.

The complete explanation for all three Power Rankings can be found below:

LA emerge from one of the toughest stretches of the season (four straight road matches) just one point out of the playoff field. If they can just find their home form with four of the next six league matches at StubHub Center, they might be primed for a serious summer playoff push.

ESPN FC: 10th (+3)

LA might be a tad disappointed to leave D.C. with a draw, but the Galaxy can feel good about a 10-point road trip.

Third-choice goalkeeper Jon Kempin had a solid enough outing as the Galaxy fought to a 0–0 draw with D.C. United to further improve their away record. Amazingly, the Galaxy have picked up far more points away from home (13) than they have in the confines of StubHub Center (five). They’re also riding a six-match unbeaten run, which they’ll put on the line on June 17 against Houston.
