Romain Alessandrini says it's time for the LA Galaxy to bring their road mentality to StubHub Center | INSIDER

CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy have proven that they can win away from StubHub Center, and now they’re aiming to show that they can consistently get victories at StubHub Center.

Los Angeles bolstered their league-best 5-2-1 road record on Wednesday when they defeated the Colorado Rapids, 3-1. The victory extended the Galaxy’s unbeaten run in league play to eight matches.

Quickly climbing the table in the Western Conference, the final obstacle for the Galaxy is to overcome their inconsistent form at home. Typically, dominant at StubHub Center, the Galaxy are just 1-3-3 at home.

As they look to return winning ways at home, Romain Alessandrini says the key is duplicating the loose and free way the team plays away from home.

“On the road, we have a different mentality. We play very smart and everyone fights for each other. It’s a good thing for us because everyone can play and everyone gives everything. We have to make sure that we can play like that at home," Alessandrini told LA Galaxy Insider. "The most important thing is getting results at home. Before, we took three points every time at home, and now we do that away. It’s strange, but we have to do the same thing at home.

“Maybe at home, we have a lot fo pressure because we play in front of the great fans at StubHub Center, but away we are alittle bit free. We know that we can play like that away and we need to play like that at home and if we do, we can get a lot of points at home.
