LA Galaxy II defenders Josh Turnley and Tyler Turner loaned up to LA Galaxy for U.S. Open Cup match

CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy II defenders Josh Turnley and Tyler Turner have been loaned up to the LA Galaxy and will be available for selection during Wednesday’s U.S. Open Cup match against Sacramento Republic FC.

This is Turnley's second loan to the Galaxy first team after he was in the 18 for LA's 3-1 victory over Orange County SC in Open Cup action on June 14. Turnley has made seven appearances for Los Dos this season after playing in 26 matches a year ago. The 23-year-old spent preseason with the Galaxy first team before rejoining Los Dos.

Turnley was drafted in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft by Los Angeles. The outside back spent four seasons with the Hoyas appearing in 61 total matches.

For Turner, this will mark his first inclusion in a gameday roster for the MLS side. Turner was signed this offseason after three seasons with Orlando City SC.

He's recorded eight starts and nine appearances for Los Dos in his first season with the club.
