RENO, Nev. (Monday, July 3, 2017) – LA Galaxy II (3-11-2, 11 points) were defeated 9-0 by Reno 1868 FC (7-4-4, 25 points) on Monday night at Greater Nevada Field in Reno, Nev. Four first half goals buried Los Dos from the first whistle, as LA started off the second half of the 2017 campaign with their toughest loss of the season.


After an own goal from Robert Castellanos in the third minute, Reno tacked on another three before the 25th minute. The home side tallied another five in the second half.


Three LA Galaxy Academy members started the match, with an average age of 19.45 making up the starting lineup.
