Los Dos enjoyed a two-week break after recording a thrilling comeback win against Portland Timbers 2 on July 9 in Portland, followed by a midweek draw against Tulsa Roughnecks FC at home. It’s some of the most momentum the team has managed this season, as this makes for only the second two-game unbeaten streak the game has managed this season.

Boosting Galaxy II in these two matches are forward Justin Dhillon and Adrian Vera. The two combined for five goals in LA’s last two fixtures, establishing themselves as the team’s most threatening attacking pieces. Dhillon (6) and Vera (5) have scored over half of the team’s 19 goals.

Los Dos forward Ethan Zubak is finding his way back into the squad after serving a three-game suspension and featuring for the LA Galaxy Academy U-18s during their march to the Academy Championships earlier this month. He’s subbed on in LA’s last two fixtures. The team will rely on Zubak more as forward Adonis Amaya is sidelined for the season following successful surgery to repair a torn ACL suffered in the first half of the team's July 9 match in Portland.

As part of the match, LA Galaxy II will host Health & Wellness Night, with a special night of events promoting health in the local community. The first 1,000 fans out to the match will receive a free LA Galaxy x Los Dos water bottle.
