TULSA (Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017) – LA Galaxy II (7-16-5, 26 points) fell 1-0 on the road to Tulsa Roughnecks FC (13-11-4, 42 points) on Saturday night at ONEOK Field in Tulsa, Okla.

Los Dos were unlucky early, after Tulsa Roughnecks FC capitalized on a series of unfortunate touches from LA. Andre Zanga lost a challenge in the midfield, with the collision resulting a ball that played Tulsa Roughnecks FC’s Joaquin Rivas perfectly through. Leonardo Sepulveda made it back to challenge and disrupt the three-on-two, but his deflection bounced off Jean Engola and perfectly into the path of Tulsa’s Joey Calistri, who easily finished in front of the net.

LA were almost first, when Adrian Vera found Jonah Estrada crashing in the center of the penalty area, but Estrada’s shot was denied with a kick save from Tulsa’s Fabián Cerda.

With the loss, the Galaxy fall to 4-8-1 on the road in 2017. They have two games left on their Midwestern road swing: facing Swope Park Rangers on Wednesday, Sept. 27 in Kansas City and OKC Energy FC on Sunday, Oct. 1 in Oklahoma City.
