The LA Galaxy will welcome a special guest to sign the national anthem before Saturday’s match against Real Salt Lake.

Gavin Stevens, an eight-year-old singing sensation born with a rare condition known as Leber's Congenital Amaurosis (LCA), will sing the anthem at Saturday’s contest. Stevens gained notoriety for singing the anthem on comedian Steve Harvey’s hit NBC show “Little Big Shots” and at several Los Angeles Kings hockey games.

At present, there is no known cure for the rare disease with just 150 documented cases in the United States.
