The official hype team of the LA Galaxy, LA Galaxy Star Squad, will be hosting tryouts of their own ahead of the 2018 season, on Saturday, Dec. 9 at StubHub Center.

The Galaxy Star Squad is a co-ed, highly-interactive group that represents the LA Galaxy organization at home games, events, and hundreds of appearances throughout the community. The role is quite literally a combination of a brand ambassador, promo model, part cheerleader (without any actual cheer-leading/dancing), part promotional street team, part entertainment group, and part super fan! They are primarily responsible for making sure our fans have the best experience possible anywhere they go!
At games, the team assists with entertainment, contests, activities, promotions (t-shirt/scarf tosses, prize giveaways, trivia contests, etc.), and is also the main group of brand ambassadors responsible for meeting, greeting, and interacting with our guests from start to finish. The team also represents the LA Galaxy organization at various events and appearances throughout the community, with particular emphasis on grassroots mobile marketing, fan development, and community/non-profit events.
