LA Galaxy II announced today that the club has declined 2018 contract options on four players from the team’s 2018 roster.

Midfielder Ryo Fujii, midfielder Alejandro Covarrubias, defender Tyler Turner and defender Robert Castellanos all had their contract options for next season declined.

In addition, Josh Turnley’s contract with the club has expired.

Covarrubias, a member during the team’s inaugural season in 2014, departs the club as the all-time appearances leader with 102. Fujii, a graduate of the LA Galaxy Academy, made 58 appearances in three seasons with Galaxy II.

Turnley, the LA Galaxy’s third round MLS SuperDraft pick in 2016, made 34 appearances in two seasons. Castellanos and Turner, both signed ahead of the 2017 campaign, made 16 and 22 appearances respectively.

“We are very appreciative of the pride and effort that Ryo, Alejandro, Tyler, Robert and Josh gave to this organization,” said LA Galaxy II Head Coach Mike Muñoz. “We wish them all the best in their future careers.”
