LOS ANGELES – The LA Galaxy will host LA Kings Night on Sunday, April 8 when the club faces Sporting Kansas City at StubHub Center at 6 p.m. PT (FS1, Fox Deportes). The match, presented by Bob’s Discount Furniture, will feature an unique LA Galaxy x LA Kings hat for the first 15,000 fans to enter the stadium on Sunday.
A limited number of tickets to Sunday’s contest remain available at www.lagalaxy.com/tickets.
In addition to the first 15,000 fans receiving an LA Galaxy x LA Kings hat, fans can bid on commemorative LA Galaxy/LA Kings t-shirts signed by Galaxy players, with proceeds benefitting the LA Galaxy Foundation. Fans can bid for their chance to win these one-of-a-kind items by texting GALAXY to 52182 or by visiting www.galaxy.gesture.com to register and start bidding today.
Additionally, fans can meet LA Kings alumni Daryl Evans and Jaroslav Modry, who will be on hand before the game to sign autographs at SoccerFest, beginning at 5 p.m. PT. Also in attendance will be LA Kings mascot Bailey and the LA Kings Ice Crew. In addition to Evans and Modry, fans can meet LA Kings legends Bob Miller and Alex Faust in the StubHub Backyard. As each fan waits in line to meet Miller and Faust, they will be handed a co-branded StubHub/LA Kings neck lanyard. Upon their turn, each fan will be invited to have an item of their choosing autographed and their photo taken with the LA Kings alumni.
The match on Sunday will feature additional in-stadium giveaways throughout the match for lucky fans in attendance. At halftime, a special soc-key soccer/hockey game will be played on the stadium field.
The LA Galaxy are coming off of a 4-3 win over LAFC last Sunday that saw new forward Zlatan Ibrahimović score the game’s final two goals. Yesterday, Ibrahimović was named MLS Player of the Week for his performance.
